The United States flag ... a symbol of pride!

Note: When a flag is so tattered and worn it is no longer fit to serve as a symbol of our country, it should be destroyed by burning in a dignified manner. Most Boy Scout Troops regularly conduct a dignified flag burning ceremony, often on Flag Day, June 14th. Contact your local Boy Scouts of America and inquire about the availability of this service or visit their web site at http://www.usscouts.org/ceremony/flagret1.html . Please also check on the Ritual for the Disposal of Unserviceable Flags.
